The approach

Designed before it is photographed.

ProfessionalsOn location

A successful branding session starts before the camera comes out. We first look at your goals: where the photos will be used, who will see them, and what you want people to understand about you. Then we plan the wardrobe, location, background, lighting, and types of images you need.

You see your photos during the session. We review them together and make adjustments as we go.

  1. Strategy First

Every session begins with a simple plan. Where will your images appear? Who are you trying to reach? What do you want your photos to communicate? Once that is clear, we plan the details around it.

  2. Guided, Not Just Taken

Most people are not professional models—and you do not need to be. Kay guides your posing, posture, hands, angles, and expressions throughout the session so you look natural, confident, and comfortable.

  3. Reviewed on Set

You see your photos during the session. We review the images together and make adjustments to expression, posing, lighting, wardrobe, or background as we go. You are part of the process from beginning to end.

  4. Created for Real Use

Your photos are planned around where they will actually appear. Different platforms need different types of images, and we think about those needs before we photograph.

About Kay Choi

Driven by strategy.

Kay ChoiStudio

Kay Choi came to photography with an unusual combination of experience: healthcare, design, and visual communication.

With a Master's degree in Visual Communication Design and fifteen years as a practising hospital pharmacist, Kay brings careful attention to detail together with a strong understanding of branding and communication.

For Kay, a photograph is not simply about looking good. It should help people understand who you are, trust what you do, and see the value of your work.

Professional photography should fit into your workday—not take it over. Kay photographs professionals in offices, hospitals, clinics, corporate spaces, and other work environments. Before the session, we coordinate the details so the shoot runs smoothly.

Quick logistics

  1. Flexible Scheduling

Sessions can be planned around meetings, appointments, and busy workdays.

  2. Full Coordination

We discuss access, visitor passes, facility guidelines, parking, and location details before the session.

  3. Minimal Disruption

Lighting and equipment are planned around your space and your team's normal routine.

Why it matters

Your image should build trust before you meet.

People often see your photo before they ever speak with you.

  • 01A patient looks at your physician profile before making an appointment.
  • 02A potential client visits your website before calling.
  • 03A company reviews your LinkedIn profile.
  • 04An event organizer sees your speaker photo.
  • 05A customer sees the person behind your business.
