Founder and Business Owner Portfolio
Founder sessions are photographed where the businesses actually are: a jewellery showroom, a design studio, a garden-facing office, a dining room set for clients. The room is doing as much work in these frames as the person standing in front of the camera.

Why so few of these are plain backgrounds
Because for an owner, the environment is evidence. A prospective client looking at a jeweller, a designer or a consultant is trying to work out what it will be like to deal with them, and a photograph of the actual room answers that question in a way a grey backdrop cannot.
It also produces images that do more jobs. A portrait fills a profile slot; a wider frame with the workspace in it can carry a homepage, a headline, an article, a social post and a press page. That is why almost every session in this gallery came out of a branding plan rather than a headshot booking — several looks, several settings, mapped to the specific pages they were destined for before the day began.
The exception is worth stating plainly: if you need one photograph for one profile, an environmental session is the wrong purchase and a $200 headshot session is the right one.
More on how a founder session is planned is on the founders page.
Plan a session
The room you built is part of the story.
Founder sessions photograph you, the work and the space in a single planned day.
